More and more adults are choosing to take adult dance classes as a form of fitness. Many clients walk into our studio and are intrigued by the fact that we offer open dance classes for adults but operate under the assumption that they don’t possess the skill set to do well in the class. We’re here to tell you that not only will succeed in the class, but that you’re going to have a blast while doing so.

You’ll burn lots of calories and get a great workout!
Dancing is great form of exercise because it provides you with both aerobic (cardio) and anaerobic movements and our body needs a combination of both types of movement in order to be our healthiest. You will likely be working muscles you didn’t even know you had and be sweaty and (the good kind of) sore.
Who doesn’t like to dance?! We don’t mean getting on stage and performing in front of hundreds of people – we’re talking twirling, moving and getting in touch with your body. Often times, the same clients who are terrified to take the plunge and try their first class are the same clients raving about how much fun they’ve had! It can be extremely exhilarating to move your body in a creative way, to a killer beat.
It requires you to step outside of your comfort zone!
If you’ve never danced, or haven’t danced in a long time, the thought of attending an adult dance class can be a scary experience! However, we are firm believers that if you’re scared to try something new, doing it is the best way to go! Everyone is there for themselves and once the music and choreography begins, we can assure you that your fears will melt away (along with those calories!)
