Preventative measures

We are dedicated to keeping our studio
safe and clean

We are dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable dance experience for our dancers and families and will follow all COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Our annual dance classes will be available in person and online.

If you are wondering how our studio is set up for in-studio classes you can watch our video outlining the changes we have made to keep our dancers safe and feeling good. We will continue to adapt as needed, bringing our students the best dance experience and peace of mind.

Here’s what’s new
New dancer protocols

We will be guided by current regulations to ensure a safe environment for all students. We have implemented the following measures:

  • Our lobby is closed for visitors and dancers must be dropped off and picked up at the front door.
  • We will have assigned parking spots for parents to drop off their child before parking their car.
  • Your child will use hand sanitizer when they arrive and necessary health checks will be taken based on the health guidelines, which may include a temperature check. If your child is sick they must stay home.
  • Dancers will proceed to their studio room and find their special space with a foot placement and markings to help ensure social distancing is in place at all times.
  • Our studio will be cleaned frequently and we have staggered our class times start and end times.
  • Our registration process can be done online 24/7 or during office hours over the phone.
  • Dancers are welcome to bring and wear their own PPE in class if they choose.
  • We ask dancers to use the washroom before arriving and bring their own water bottle to class.
  • Bare feet will not be permitted. We ask that lyrical and contemporary dancers wear jazz shoes, and Dancenastics and Acro students wear Acro Shoes. These will be available at the studio for purchase.
  • Our strategy and plan moving forward:
    Three potential scenarios

We have outlined below three contingency plans in the event restrictions are changed or re-introduced:

Plan A – In-Person Classes with modified class structure – social distance dancing (current plan)

Plan B – Modified Program – hybrid model with alternating dancers in studio and online

Plan C – Fully Virtual – Government Mandate Closure with full schedule of live classes

By registering for the fall programs, you understand that any of the three options may apply at any time and that the full schedule and tuition remain. You may read our full waiver and protection plan here.
