At Soul Connexion, we provide a safe space where you are welcome to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable to move around! We have a variety of fitness classes that focuses on different goals, whether you’re sweating or stretching. Here are some guidelines to help you prepare for your first fitness class with us.
As a guideline, here is what some of our students wear for each class:
Zumba: Tights or work out shorts, sports bra, breathable tank top or T-shirt, comfortable runners
Ballet Barre: Tights or work out shorts, sweats, sports bra, tank top, T-shirt, or long sleeve shirt, barefoot or special Barre/Yoga footwear
Tighten & Tone: Tights or work out shorts, sweats, sports bra, breathable tank top, T-shirt, comfortable runners
Bootcamp: Tights or work out shorts, sports bra, breathable tank top, T-shirt, comfortable runners
Adult Hip Hop: Tights or sweats, sports bra, breathable tank top, T-shirt, comfortable runners
We recommend choosing breathable material that will keep you cool and comfortable. Keep in mind that cotton absorbs moisture that might weigh you down during class.
Many students wear a smartwatch or fitness tracker during class that need to be put on silence to avoid beeping or buzzing. Feel free to wear accessories or jewellery as long as they don’t get in the way as you move. We recommend wearing a headband for our more active fitness classes to catch sweat from dripping into your eyes.
We have shelves where you can store your items and hooks to hang your coat. We ask that you kindly refrain from bringing in bulky gym bags or large winter coats inside the studio as we want to leave room for all of our students to move freely.
